Septic and Drain Field Work in Richmond

Install, repair, and maintenance, plus the clearing and grading that has to happen first. One crew, start to finish.

A septic system handles everything that leaves your house, and it only works if the ground underneath it does.

When a drain field stops draining, the problem shows up above ground — wet spots, slow drains, odor after rain.

We install new systems, repair failed drain fields, and keep working ones working. And because the ground is where these systems succeed or fail, the clearing and grading is part of the job, not something you line up separately.

When You Need Us

  • You’re building and the lot needs a system from scratch.
  • Water pools over your drain field, or the ground stays soft.
  • Drains are slow and the tank isn’t the problem.
  • There’s an odor around the field after it rains.
  • The area where the system has to go is wooded, uneven, or hard. to reach.

Nick and his crew did an amazing job after a tree fell on our house. Quick to respond, very polite and overall did a great job. It was a tricky removal and they figured out each detail. We highly recommend Nick and his team.

Nick Ragland and his crew did a really great job cutting down a lot of trees, especially one that was difficult to access and was leaning over a shed. They were punctual, safe, easy to work with, and professional. Nick also did a wonderful job replacing some posts and fencing in our pasture. He has worked for us several times and we have always been more than pleased. I would trust him to do any job well.

We were surrounded by wilderness when CPLM got started. Now we’re surrounded by what looks like a forest in a State Park! Love the job they did!

Cedar Point Land Management did an outstanding job with tree work at my house. We had several trees in close proximity to buildings- some were leaning, some were dead and others just needed to go. Nick and his guys were on time, worked hard, cleaned up all of the debris and avoided ruining our landscaping in the process. I was very pleased and will contact them if I need anything similar in the future.

FAQ

Will I be charged for the estimate?

No. Estimates are free.

We do it all. That's the part most septic contractors leave to you.

Not always. Sometimes it's how water moves across the property rather than the field itself. We'll look at both before quoting anything.

Yes. Clearing and grading the area is part of the same job.
